Random cop cars not despawning

Featured Replies

Anyone know any ways of dealing with some cops car that just won't despawn when I drive away? For example there might be a roadblock or a big scene with lots of cop cars. Then I'll drive away and come back only to find abandoned cop cars in the middle of the road still. I usually just end up towing them (atleast until that tow script crashes) but am just curious if there's an easier way or a setting I can change to fix this.

Are you using any other mods or plugins for LCPDFR?

Cars usually don't despawn because a script is telling the game to keep it loaded in memory, it's the result of some mods which don't free up the vehicles when they're done with them. Your best bet is to just cause the vehicle not to exist any more (such as by towing it).

Ah sorry about the late reply, forgot about this post.

I use breathalyzer and traffic management script, indicator script, Traffic Flow, vdH_towService, and WoutersCallouts along with LCPDFR

Right ok. It could be an issue with one of those mods then, so try it without a couple of them.

Also, you could help to reduce the chance it occurs by lowering the number of police vehicles that start out in pursuits and the number of cops allowed (this can be found in the .ini file)

This wont reduce the number of random AI units that join but it may help clear the LCPDFR spawned ones.

I've found that it helps to stick around at the scene until all the officers return to their cars. If you look away or leave the PEDs despawn without getting back in their cars.
