After a while playing with this I noticed the Families insulting me for being a cop, saying this such as ''Watch out, it's the LSPD'' in a mocking manner.

I cant wait to do this I gotta get me a usb port tomorrow gta iv has gotten extremely boring I wana see some videos of these in action

You can also play with Cutscene character models, they work almost flawlessly and won't make your game crash at any instance.

For some reason when I do all the steps to change the character, I copy over the modded save from USB to PS3 HD but it doesn't seem to change when going in-game. I'm playing as Michael, by the way. Any help would be apprictated.

This happens to me as well kind of. I can change Trevor and Franklin but not Michael. He always stays the same.

I think you have to save as a different character that you are not changing so save as franklin and mod Michael then when you load it as franklin switch to him and it might work im trying that right now

 

Apparently you can also change NPCs, it's limited to the next special NPCs:

 

ig_nervousron

ig_JimmyDiSanto

ig_TracyDiSanto

ig_AmandaDiSanto

 

If you want to take a picture of an NPC with a hat and glasses on then I'd recommend you do Ron, as Michael's family members tend to load the most random stuff ever. 

Pretty weird when I change to the LSPD cop model, for some reason 1-2 stars the cops just ignore me but when i reach 4 stars and above for some reason they start shooting me again.

 

PS: do you guys know the codes for the female police officers as well as SWAT to see if it happens to them as well.

Both cops are the same model. The heads and armour torso model are different 'slots' in the pedvariations.dat file.
