I am trying to rotate a Whelen Justice lightbar in zmodeler, and even though I have the entire lightbar selected, only certain parts get rotated?????

Select the lightbar, enter polygonal mode, select it again and rotate from there. Once you're done, re-enter normal mode.

Deselect everything, hide the truck so only the lightbar is visible and then do what I said in my original post. Also, make sure selected mode is off before you enter polygonal mode. 

Ok, done that. Even when I shift click the light bar and try letting the program rotate it 90 degrees, it stays the same.

go into the modify - move, then turn off affect children. This might help

Affect children in the move option is already unchecked.

Im not the most experienced modeler, but try doing it with a different car. If it doesnt work with another car, its probably an issue with something checked that shouldnt be, etc.
