Poping Textures

Featured Replies

As the title says my problem is poping textures! I have always just ignored it, it would stay for a little then if would go and come back. It gets really annoying. what I mean exactly is that, even when I'm lookin straight ahead things start to pop. It's always happening. If anybody could help that would be great. What scripts/plugins and how many do you have? How many modded cars? Are they really nicely textured?

The only plugin I use is wouters callouts.

Cars and Peds:

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Scripts:

I only started using this pack 2 days ago, and my poping textures problem has been happening for a long time

Still...

That's a lot of shit man.

Even though you might not be using those scripts at the time, they are still loaded when you start LCPDFR.

TrafficFlow alone makes sure the cars cycle properly, that uses a lot of memory.

You're using high-poly cars with all ELSv8.

Do you suggest anything I should do?

Using POLICE, POLICE2 for modded cars is a bad idea as they are the most spawned police cars. So place your modded cars under fbi, nstockade, something that doesnt get spawned often.

Take out a lot of your scripts.

LCPDFR isn't meant to run a ton of scripts like you have, because LCPDFr is a mod itself, adding that many scripts just adds to the unstability of the game and memory cause its constantly running multiple scripts at a time, and textures are a bulk of it because they demand so much from your GFX card and CPU and GPU.

Just take a couple out and see how it works, if you still get popping, then take some more. It takes some experimenting.

Everyones LCPDFR experience is different. Hope this helps even a little.

Okay thanks

Also I took out all my scripts and I am still getting poping textures, with my specs I'm pretty sure my computer can handle car mods. Maybe a commandline.

That might help.

Your computer seems like it could handle everything but then again I don't know your computer first-hand.

Heres my command line:

-norestrictions

-percentvidmem 100

-memrestrict 314572800

-memrestrict 629145600

-memrestrict 209715200

-Memrestrict 650117120

-Memrestrict 681574400

-No_3GB

-noprecache

-novblank

-nomemrestrict

-frameLimit 1

-texturequality 0

-renderquality 4

-shadowdensity 1

-percentvidmem 100

-availablevidmem 2100
