I think I broke it.

Well, I recently saved the game and quit while I was set as "on duty." I had installed the Breathalyzer script, though I doubt it has caused this problem. When I tried loading the game again, it stopped working after the "chapter" loading text. How can I fix this? I have other saves from before the Breathalyzer script was installed, so if there's something I need to delete, it isn't a problem. I just would like to play again.

(Apparently the forum doesn't let me paste text. Hooray.)

(I'm sorry, it's too big to printscreen and I can't paste the absurdly long MediaFire link. Is there a way to get the paste function working?)

(EDIT: The last line states that it failed to load the "backup" value, I think.)

Use Chrome or Firefox to paste text.

Also, do not save when using mods. Delete your saves and start over. They're in the My Documents folder or the AppData folder.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

The save files are located in 2 different places.

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
X:Users%username%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
Note: The AppData-folder is usually hidden, make sure that you can see hidden files.

Note 2: “X” is the drive where you have installed GTA IV, and %username% is replaced by your username
