scaling dummies?

Featured Replies

Hi LCPDFR,

I just have a question which has been bothering me for a while. If i scaled a lightbar with its dummies do i need to scale the dummies to the original size? if i should can i:

A. replace the dummies with the original ones? (is it just scaling then, or is there a simpler way?)

B. Right click on the dummy, go to properties and change the "scale X, Scale Y and Scale Z"?

Thanks,

B is probably the simplest option. Just note down the X, Y and Z values before and once you're done scaling change them back to the originals.

Or, you could drag everything out of the dummies and hide the dummies and then scale away and place everything back into the dummies once your scaling is done.

ok thanks!, it won't affect any other standard dummies too?

It shouldn't. To be absolutely certain, hide the parts that you're not going to be scaling (or will be later).

Thanks!, one last question. it wont edit the default dummy size? (if their is a default)
