So just the other day because IV was on sale on steam i grabbed a copy, The game worked fine with mods and everything else, however games for windows always signed me in offline and when i try to connect to live i get an error message like "Game for windows cannot connect to live, live services may be unavaliable or there may be a problem with your home networking equipment" then it just keeps me offline. I have a few friends that i play LCPD:FR with online so i do need to have GFWL.

I have tried.
    1) Re-installing the 1.0.7.0 patch (Thinking it may have been steam's issue)
    2) Uninstalled and re-installed the games for windows marketplace clients
    3) Changed my profile's password

    Do you sign into social club as offline or just the play button? if you hit it with the play button and it still doesn't work then try resetting your router

    I hit the plat button but it still gives me the error.
