How to do the Offline Activation?

Featured Replies

Well today I submitted a support request on the RockStar forums and they told me to do the Offline Activation and told me to go to this link >> https://support.securom.com/pop_gtaiv.html but when I go here, I am completly confused on how to even do these instructions. Do I have to get on my old laptop? Or should I Re-Install GTA IV? I'm really getting angry at this game.  :verymad:

Can I just buy it from Stream and have no problems? Because idk where my old laptop is at and I really just want to play without any errors.

Yup, you can do it that way. although if you have a slow internet download speed then i'd get a new disc because the GTA 4 game is 13gb

to re-buy it from steam and install it.. you'll have to uninstall your disc copy first. So, yes you'll need to uninstall it all first
