Just watch this youtube video and he explains it, but if not simply read below.

 

Most websites will put 12/31/2014 as a hold date saying that the game will be released before the end of the year, well Amazon didnt do that. Amazon put an actual date and it was up long enough for people to see and screenshot before they changed the date.The date that was on the website was October 28, 2014. that pretty much sums it all up.

The release date is Fall 2014, until R* says something else.
