"LCPDFR has encountered a critical error"

Featured Replies

During gameplay, at random times a window will appear in-game stating that LCPDFR has encountered a critical error, and advises me to restart and post my log here. At first, I decided to just ignore it, but the problem is persisting, and makes it hard to get full enjoyment out of the game. It doesn't happen during callouts alone, it happens at any time, usually after about 15-20 minutes of playing. Also, I'm not using a cracked copy of GTA IV.

I have attached what I believe is my log file, notify me if it isn't, and how to get the log file, and I will post that instead.

I'm sure that you guys can fix this, all help is appreciated!

The way to get this fixed is to uninstall ELS v8 and v7 files out of the game directory and install ELS v8.
