Should i get a new GPU?

Featured Replies

Well, in the last weeks i have noticed my GPU has performed worse and worse. I have a ATI Readon HD 5570, and can run GTA 4 on medium-low at 30-50 FPS. It's really bugging me that i can't have any ENB's or good car mods. Should i upgrade it? I have a budget of 60-80$. My PSU are on 230 W.

Upgrading won't do very much for you, because your budget is too low and so is the wattage of your PSU.

Now, if you triple (or even more) your budget, we'll be talking. New PSU new GPU SHABAM.

If you're only on a limited budget, then I don't see the point in getting a new GPU. Even if your current GPU is playing up, stick with it for now and when you get more money save up for a good GPU. Then it will be actually worth it and you won't be disappointed (If you get just a regular not very good GPU now, then you probably won't be impressed with its performance). I waited years for a good computer, i've had it for about 8+ months now and I'm still really impressed by its performance! (I have a GeForce GTX 650 Ti GPU)
