Whenever i try to sign in to games for windows live through GTA IV it says my product key is invalid. Any advice for this?

Yes the key is valid and I bought the game and it's installed

Can you reinstall the game to reverify the key? 

I have reinstalled it multiple times and it still doesn't work.

Are you online when you are reverify the key or offline?

 

 

I start up social club and hit play and then go in hit sign in type in my stuff and it says downloading profile and it says your product key is invalid please insert a valid product key.

Hmm, I had not had this error before, should contact Rock Star 

I don't think you can enter the key in social club, only when installing the game. 

I contacted rock star and they needed proof of the purchase which I don't have anymore. Should I uninstall social club and try putting the key in again?

Step 2: Go to www.xbox.com and sign into/Create an account
Step 3: Go to "Redeem Code" and paste in your activation Key
Step 4: You will be told that you have redeemed a code for "Grand Theft Auto IV' or "Grand Theft Auto EFLC"
Step 5: If you don't already have the GFWL client download it when prompted
Step 6: Sign into your Xbox Live Account
Step 7: Go to the "Downloads" tab & Click on "GTA IV" or "GTA EFLC"
Step 8: Under the game's information click on "View Game Keys"
Step 9: You will see "Game activation key" and "Live Access Code"
Step 10: Write down you "Game activation key"
Step 11: Open GTA IV or GTA EFLC and open the GFWL sign in screen
Step 12: Sign into you windows live account when prompted you have an invalid activation code press "Continue" or "Ok"

Did you redeem the code on xbox with the account you are using in the GFWL marketplace?

It now says my computer is running to slowly is there any fix to that besides getting a new computer
