Im part of a clan about a year now... We use 0.95 , els v7, new cars , new unform weapon etc.  we use braveheart DAS vdhs tow spotlight etc...We all have same files and We manage to play but we still have crashs due policing script .and probably ELS...I tried our pack on 1.0b and i cant play more then 10mins before a crash in multiplayer. I would like to Test Multiplayer with  LCPDFR 1.0b on clean gta4 without any ELS or extra mods but no one in my clan would reinstall to make the test. Im huge fan I love what lcpdfr team did on 1.0b and i cant play 0.95 anymore... I wonder if a community member would like to do it with me. only 1.0b installed... if someone here want try add me on windowslive : MindnessTango

LCPDFR does not support any form of Online play. 

From the manual:

LCPDFR heavily modifies the game far beyond its original purpose or scope. As such, it can conflict with the game and cause occasional failures and errors. Such errors will not have any lasting effect on the modification or the game, however they may result in crashes, freezes or the current session becoming unplayable. LCPDFR does not currently support any form of multiplayer gameplay, although the modification will still run, albeit perhaps with far less stability, when playing a multiplayer game session. If you do not intend to use the LCPDFR modification in multiplayer gameplay, we highly recommend disabling or temporarily removing it, along with other modifications, before entering any multiplayer sessions.

It will crash, most likely.

A heads up: Your "clan" using mods will not help with the crashes, especially not ELS cars. So removing them is a wise choice.

I've been testing the multiplayer out and I can safely say that it's really not worth it. Crashing half of the time, you'll manage to patrol 5-10 minutes tops. Not to mention the issues like game slowing down during the "action" menu, and lot's of other syncing issues. Say you start a chase, another player comes by and the AI connects to him. He'll act like normal traffic again and further actions on him will probably cause you to crash.

Olanov: okay here my story...  I know ELS is bad for multiplayer because  it spawn 4 cars in 50milisec or less   when you play 16 players or more and everyone have els on  its 16 x 4 car spawning in game  it make lag and desyncronization ,  and most of the crash was this and the braveheart scripts  error log are loaded of policing error... i told 100 times my clan members without any success...

 

 

1 guy of my clan made a clean gta4 and test 1.0b with me. i cant play much with him because he's european and im canadian. but we manage to play and test it 1 time.  we both had original game without mods except DAS... we played 2 hours without any crashs, we pullover together  he surrounding me while i was at door. we did events together.  he could take my suspect release them taking back etc , we test alot of things that 0.95 dont likes and nothing happens , we never did reloadscripts , and after 2 hours   it was the first time i open the cellphone to select  quit session for a long long time. that 2 hours without crash make me happy but really angry in same time...i was feeling sick it is just chance? or lcpdfr run flawless when you only have original game on... that's why that affect me bad and want to retry! but good luck find someone not using ELS or heavy mods...

I'm not using any mods other than LCPDFR. 

Did you try gta4 clean and 1.0b in multiplayer with sucess? or we was just lucky that day...

I did not. LCPDFR isn't stable in multiplayer as stated by me and Olanov before. 

So , obliviously, lcpdfr never plan to be stable in multiplayer because of gta4 multiplayer engine... ?  are we talking about 1.0 only or all the lcpdfr series?

We're talking all of the LCPDFR versions. It was never designed with multiplayer in mind. Never know what LMS has cooking though for the future :)

If he took out Ai peds and cars and do a 

CrazyBob's Cops And Robbers 

on a dedicated server.  that would be just insane :)

Me and LMS are working hand in hand trying to make the online better. No promises but who knows what future holds for LCPDFR.

Happy to hear that, I will keep asking if some people of my clan want do 1.0b with originale files , it may be much stable than 0.95 with els and bunch of stuff. Hope gta 5 will be PC or Watchdogs editable... who know
