Hello all,

Been doing some searching around for answers on this one with no luck. It seems that every time I call for backup after the call is resolved the police officers either disappear or walk off and leave all their vehicles behind. Its a bummer cause in big fire fights and whatnot I love waiting for the cavalry to arrive and assist but than the road is FULL of police cars that don't disappear....same with roadblocks ( that's why I disabled them)....does anyone know if there  is a fix or at least know if this is a common bug.

    This isn't a bug, I'm sure everyone gets this.

    The "problem" is that once the callout you are dealing with has fully ended in the script, the police are detached from the script meaning they return to being standard GTA IV AI.

     

    GTA IV AI will derp, a lot. So they may walk off, they may find a car and try to leave by crashing into every other object. Kill a few people. Not a lot you can do because the AI is hard coded.
