i think nearly everybody knows Abraxas Police Helper. A really useful device for many LCPD officers. And i thing most of you know Sgt. Kanyo's Yellow Tape already.

 

Would it be possible to change the barrier spawning from Police Helper so it spawns the yellow tape instead of the barriers?

Or would this be against the authors copyrights?

I thought about this when kanyo released the yellow tape. This would be really cool.

You may mail Abraxas and Kanyo and ask their permission. I more than sure that Abraxas won't update PH any more since he retired from moding, but with authors' permission someone may do it

Tbh all you need to do is replace the original barrier with the modded police tape in your GTA IV files and done.

Don't need permission for it, no one has to script and super easy and quick.

It can easily be done like AUXCable said but the problem with it, is that most often the tape needs to be moved through the trainer, so spawning it through Police Helper probably wont place it the way you would like it to, and because you haven't spawned it through the trainer you wont be able to move it.
