Newst version no other mods. Cannot get the telephone with x to go away

Featured Replies

The symbol(telephone with x) appears just below the map and to the left. How do I get it to go away? it wants you to press this symbol (~) but when I push it it brings up some other menu?

How can I change the button config for this or is there another remedy. I think its the symbol stating one is unavailable because it does not play anymore call-outs.

Sorry if this is a noob problem, but I do appreciate the patience and help.

I think you have to press alt-E to clear your last call to get rid of the telephone and receive new call outs.

He's right, Alt+E should make your officer radio in that your status is open, making the symbol disappear
