ok so this finally helped me to get into the game with windows 8.1  and activate the lcpd but when i go to police station  and try to start , it starts telling me what room to fill my energy up  and choose my partner and then kicks me out the police station and back to driving tony, now while driving tony it switches to police station in a room upside down with police offers and displays the same message up top again and then it go back to regular game. how do i fix this?  i get no error messages or anything but the screen flips upside down and goes back and forth to where i was originally at

ok I got It  to work !! :) now to start getting mods....sigh ..took forever lol

 

Try not to add TOO many mods lol

how did you fix it? I have 8.1 and get loading error in the script.... Advancehook doesn't start up and I use the one that comes with the manuel install....

That's what version i have . i had that issue before they came out with the new lcpd1.0b...what i did was uninstall the other version and downloaded the new hot fix lcpd 1.0b and its been working...the game acting funny at first but i rebooted and completed the first mission in the game and then after that i was able to switch over to lcpd..when it comes to mod ..i downloaded spark IV and it didn't work on my system but i got open IV installer now and its working for modding except my car lights don't work so i still have to play with it to see how to fix that .. and i always do the automatic install when i download
