Hi,

I have a strong pc, and have recently started becoming a modder. The last mod/script I installed with LCPDFR. It worked great for a few days, all up until about a week ago when it would not let my game run at all. I tried uninstalling LCPDFR from the GTA IV directory, but that still didn't fix it.

Can you tell me what I'd have to do?

If you need more info, please let me know and I'd be happy to tell you.

Thanks!

-Fingies

P.S. Don't get me wrong, the LCPDFR script was incredible!

Sounds like a corrupted save game to me.

My thinking as well. Purely because it happened to me in my first days using LCPDFR. Saved a game while playing LCPDFR and game would no longer load.

Delete saved games is only solution to that as far as I know.

There is no reason to ever save a game while playing LCPDFR as there is no progression to save, but like many I was conditioned to save my game as an automatic reaction :)

Long story short.... After pressing Alt P never save. Close game and restart to continue with normal GTA IV progression.

You can still save the game after you go off duty. What causes the problem is your player model. if it isn't set to Niko (so you're playing as a cop), and you save, your savegame will be corrupt. As long as you're Niko you should generally be ok.

So.. what do I do now? D:

And yeah, I might've pushed a wrong button and saved accidentally.
