Ok so im getting this reoccurring problem every time i install a vehicle . I installed a lamborghini the other day, started the game and then it stops working after the loading screen. So i uninstalled it and reinstalled about 4times and it still doesn't work.. Anyone know the problem to this?

Here is what you can try.

 

1. Reinstall GTA IV, try the vehicle mod, if it crashes your game... avoid it

 

OR

 

2. Remove all mods (if you kept track of what you have downloaded)

 

I recommend number one because it's foolproof. Make sure you run the game as admin and patch to v 1.0.7.0.

Did you install the vehicle?

If you did NOT install the vehicle and the game still crashes without mods, then you either 

 

Did not clean out GTA IV directory after uninstallation (some scripts still remain)

 

OR

 

You did not install correctly

the folder is clear, matter fact its gone after i uninstall. and when installing its not like im installing a new game where i enter the product code and stuff idk if thats the problem??

Can you run GTA IV?

Do you have a car parked infront of niko's house? if so move the car save game then put your vehicle you want back into the game and load it, should work.
