As much as I like the idea, I don't think it's possible due to GTA having it's limits. Of course, I'm no scripter but it seems unlikely.

what's so hard to trigger an event by damaging a ped bone then apply injured walking animation... gtaiv isn't that limited lol but this idea was in my todo list.

Injured walking is possible, but he was talking about crawling, for which there is no animation.

oh hippiecommunist had something similar in his mod pack, so it's possible. also someone found out how to make custom animations now ;).

 

d_Crawl.CS - makes peds crawl and die when have very low health (might cause some lags, optionary use)

It's possible. I think you should send a scripter a PM for such a request, I hear JulioNIB is very much open to requests. Shoot him a PM over on GTA4-Mods.
