I'm thinking it would be cool have some thing like this but it would only be enabled in hardcore mode.

 

You would press a key behind a car and it would deploy it and the car would be shown on your minimap.

Hardcore mode is designed to make LCPDFR far, far more difficult (while also more realistic).  If this type of GPS tracking system is implemented for only one mode, I'd almost expect it to be on the normal mode because it can make it easier to chase down a suspect without having to pursue them as much.

 

Preferably, though, this should be implemented for both modes in my opinion.  That is, of course, if it's something that people actually want.  I'm rather neutral on it, myself.  It's all about the reward vs the time it takes to code in.

That's Duluth PD for you. They have the money to spend on cool tech like that.

I live in Duluth and have seen them in action. I saw most of it happen they are very good on how to control it. They did not have this technology yet to but it was during last summer it ended up on a head on collision the guy that was being pursued died in the accident.

I think this would be a pretty nice addition to LCPDFR. On another note those need to be in a lot more cities and states. This could help a lot with chases.
