I am getting some problems when trying to download and install the LCPD:FR 1.0a. I'm getting an error message about missing a script, but I dont know what script and what it means... Please help!

Hello, use the manual installer instead :) 

I just reinstalled GTA IV after having trouble with the manual installer too, and I saw a lot of videos about the automatic installer, so I decided to try it. I will try again with the Manual, but do you know what this error message is? :)

It's a sign to use the manual installer ;) Honestly though, I have no idea. 

Alright thanks anyways, I will try the manual installer now. But do I still need the Hotfix for manual install, or only for the automatic?

The hotfix is included in the manual installation package, no need to apply the hotfix :) 

Alright, thanks. But what would you recommand of the xlive.dll or the dsound.dll? Do it affact the LCPD:FR in game?

Dsound is more stable IMO, and with it you can play online. XLIVE will disable GFWL (and the live save files). 

Now I have downloaded the manual version, but LCPD:FR will not launch In game.... Do you know what this is? Cause I really wanna play LCPD:FR, but the problem is that it doesnt work.

Hm. Which steps are you taking in-game to launch the mod? 

Steps? The only thing I do, is downloading & installing the mod, then entering the game and presses ALT+P, but it wouldn't launch, no matter how hard I pressing the buttons, it wont work. I have also tried only P, CTRL+P and CTRL+ALT+P, but nothing works...

And when installing the mod manually, do you overwrite all files? Do you have the latest GTA IV patch? All redists? 

Yes I overwrote all the files I guess. I dont have the latest patch, unless it got autoinstalled when reinstalling GTA 4. Do I need that?

I have installed the patch, and tried everything I know about but it STILL does not work..... I dont know whats wrong! I'm getting so mad of this problem...

What are your computer specs? Is the game being launched as administrator? 

Yes the game is starting as administrator, it that correct, or should I try without admin?

That should be it. I'm not really sure what could be wrong then :/
