howdy all, I was wondering im thinking about getting Arma 3 what do you like about it, Does it work well, Any lag? Or should i get Arma 2?

My friend has Arma 3, it looks amazing, and the AI is about 500% better than Arma 2.

If you were to get Arma 2, though, get ARMA 2, and ARMA 2 Combined Operations, then you can use more mods.

It's basically a military simulator with a campaign and multiplayer capabilities, it's waay more realistic than CoD or Battlefield for example.

Arma 3 is fun guys, Just bought it! Also i need help! If you have a server, or can help me pm on here or email me lol, Something cause i got lots of questions :D

Here is were I stand, I have been playing ARMA ever since it came out, I have owned every arma game and I have been part of more clans then I can count. So you know i'm a true arma fan and I mean this when I say it.

 

 

If you would of ask this question a few months ago I would of told you to go buy arma 2 and forget about arma 3, because arma 3 was really boring and just stupid it looked like call of duty. Now since they have dedicated there time to fixing arma 3 it has become 500x better and i'm actual able to play it and be proud to call it a arma game. Arma 3 adds a entire new lew of realistic combat experience and its keeping all the kids out because they can't go around no scoping with sniper rifles. (its awesome now because you need to adjust for elevation and wind speed and stuff)

 

Personally right now I think arma 3 is the best arma yet. (Well unless you mod arma 2 with ACE then arma 2 is better) But i'm talking about stand alone.

 

If arma 3 is to expensive go buy arma 2 and download and install this mod called "ACE" it makes the game really realistic and adds about 400 new guns, units, cars, tanks and stuff. Its really up to you they are both great games right now. Arma 3 I can only see getting better, only thing with Arma 3 is there arent a lot of mods out there yet because it only came out a year ago.
