That's what I'm searching for: a script that toggles a determinated vehicle extra when pressing a certain key.

 

I searched for something like that with no luck... I think there's no other option than to script it from scratch, but the only thing I understood is that (maybe?) should be an ASI script which invoke the TURN_OFF_VEHICLE_EXTRA native function (the same used by ELS). I'd love to make it by myself but I'm going crazy, even with the simplified Aru's Scripthook SDK "templates": never coded in my life, I thought it was easier than it actually is. Wasted hours studying those templates, didn't understood anything... =)

 

Can anyone help me with this?

What is this script for?

Having a fixed rooftop beacon light on a unmarked/undercover vehicle is senseless: the idea is to fast toggling (with a key) extra_X which contains siren_X (in vehicle hierarchy tree).

[Right now there's a possible and messy workaround using a trainer. EVCS has this function but works with vanilla slots only.]

I don't know anything about scripting but it seems very hard to do. It would be pretty cool in a way.

The download returns a corrupted "LCPD_Police_Mod_v1.6" RAR, which I can't open or even repair... DAAAAMN

 

I suppose the Lt.Caine script was that EVA (Emergency Vehicle Actions). Is it available somewhere else?
