Hi LCPDFR,

 

I found a awesome detailed expedition model on sketchup. But i have no experience in converting skethcup models to 3ds max. if somebody could convert it to 3ds max i can take it over from there.

I don't think anyone will convert it because it's a sketchup model. Most sketchup models require a lot of editing before it can be released.

 

by the time you finish the sketchup model.. You could have built one from scratch and released it.

I just meant if somebody would make it the right size, after that i would do everything myself :)

Honestly, If you want the Expedition to be good, you'll have to build it from scratch.

Usually i'd agree with you mate :) , but i feel like this model is one of the few ones i don't. But it's up to peoples own opinion

All i can say is goodluck finding someone that will touch a sketchup model.

 

you could do it yourself? There should be a few tutorials on YouTube (it always helps to learn, just in case you need to do it in the future)
