Hey guys. I recently re installed my gta 4 so i can have a fresh folder to install mods. The problem is it crashes everytime it loads into the game. The weird part is that i use the g17 diagnostic tool and it says im missing lcpdfr files, but the thing is that its there in the folder. Anyone know what i can do.

diagnostic tool does not work for 1.0. only works with version .95

Really thats interesting still wonder why im crashing. Do you know why. I have a good specs also  

Did you use the manual or automatic installer?

Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

Ok so i installed the C++ update. Removed LCPDFR re installed it and set the gta 4 as admin and ran the launch as admin, But it still crashed for some reason.

Sounds like you haven't installed the pack properly

Could you post a screenshot of your GTA IV folder? Also, do what Empire said. It helps immensly. 

 

 

 

Yeah... you really need to read the instructions.. as you have about 4 files missing from the root folder

Use the manual installation package, and follow this guide. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>. Let us know how that works.
