Hi. GFWL wont work in GTA 4.

My computer specs are:

OS: Windows 8

Graphics Card: Intel Hd Graphics 2500

Processor: Dual Intel Pentium 2.90 GHZ

Ram: 6 GB

 

GTA IV works great even with mods and LCPDFR. GFWL just wont start. Please help.

Are you using the "xlive" asi loader? (Named "xlive.dll" in your GTA IV directory). 

Yes because the only way I can play on windows 8 is with the following files:

xlive_d.dll

xlive.dll

xlive.def

xlive.lib

xliveless.h

xlive.cpp

_readme.txt

_readme_rus.txt

compile.bat

compile_with_trace.bat

Xlive will disable GFWL, so you will have to make do without GFWL or use Dsound instead.

I also have Dsound in there also but the only way to play multiplayer is to get rid of Xlive?

Yes, since xlive will disable the GFWL part of the game (where the GTA IV multiplayer runs).
