A Shame it wasnt permanent. Now i can play 5-10 mins but it still crashes. It makes me really sad because its so great...

Yep the crash happened to me again as well. I guess it's got something to do with where you are in LC. For instance the downtown area (which resembles the Times square in NYC) has more vehicles moving and parking at a time than other areas (i.e. the rim of Northwood). My crash happened in downtown yesterday.

Anyway, Downtown with a traffic density set to 25% looks like a ghost town already. Should we turn it down even further?

Maybe your Post help them to find a solution. I mean i have 8 gb Ram and a Quad Core and can play Battlefield 4 on Ultra and had never crashes with 095 and GTA 4 so it cant be the Machine. Maybe they find a solution

Maybe yes but the memory management of GTA IV is known for being insufficient and this seems to be another memory issue.

I'm no C++ developer so I don't know if it's even possible to make any improvements on that.

BTW I removed the TrafficFlow mod some hours ago and that seems to gain stability. I hadn't any crashes since then but I quit anyway because I faced the usual glitches which pile up over time. At first it's always the policing mod that crashes. Then some minutes later one after the other of the mods crashes as well.

Doesnt work for me. I have a clean install without any mods.

There must be a solution. They say they had no Problems testing the Mod. If they are not lying there must be a Reason why this is on our Machines.

Today i installed Windows 7 but i choosed the 32 bit Version. Had the 64 Bit Version before. I played now for 15 min without crash. Its the first Time that i can play that long. Tomorrow i have more Time and i will see how long i can play now without crash. GTA runs on max. Graphic Settings but this time without Lags when i activate LCPDFR...

 

Whoa I'd never downgrade my computer but okay, each to their own.

It runs really better on that 32 Bit Version but Crashes are still here.
