EFLC or GTA IV will not start

I have EFLC and GTA IV for Steam and each time I try to start them from the social club screen, the social club screen will go away and then a black screen for about five seconds followed by it crashing to desktop. I can click on it to take me back for a brief second or too. It is running in the background  just being irritating. Before you ask....

1. Parental controls is turned all the way down
2. I am running both via LaunchGTAIV/(EFLC)
3. I have the game as Vanilla.

Help anyone? :P

It would seem like several people are having issues with RGSC for the moment, causing them to crash. Have you tried launching the game from the root dir, and launching the game in offline mode?

I am launching it as offline and from the root dir. Glad I'm not alone right now :o
