Hello, I have just reinstalled EFLC and was looking at my handling files and other files of the sort. When I open them with notepad, the text that you would expect to be there, has turned into random shapes and symbols. The picture that I have attached is an example of my handling files.

 

Does anyone know what is going on?

It is the same when I try multiple Microsoft Office tools and Windows Wordpad.

I'm afraid I don't know what the issue is then.  Maybe someone else does.

That one works perfectly! But why are all of my files like that? That's the million pound/dollar/euro/rupee question!

I think your files are corrupted, but that would make the game crash... What happens if you overwrite the file you have with the one I provided?

It works fine! The weirdest stuff really does happen to me...it really does.

Yeah, they all look the same! 

 

I think I will just forget about EFLC and stick with GTA IV. I'll try it again in a few years...
