Firetrucks disrupting Gameplay

Featured Replies

Hi

I wasn't sure where to post this, and there does not seem to be an existing support request about the topic. So here we go:

The game works fine, however there seems to be a slight bug whenever I enter my police car. Upon doing so, my character says "Watch out, this thing is gonna blow!" (or something like that) and automatically calls for firetruck assistance. This seems to happen whether my vehicle is damaged or not. When the firetrucks arrive, the disrupt my whole gameplay experience by running over people and crashing into cars. I once arrested the firemen inside, and when I went back into my car my character called for firetruck assistance again.

Nobody else seems to have this problem, so I conclude that it is possible to turn this off somewhere.

Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

For some reason, your modifier key might not be set in the lcpdfr.ini.

Make sure it looks like this:

RequestFirefighter=F
RequestFirefighterModifierKey=ControlKey

Alternatively, you can change it to:

RequestFirefighter=None
RequestFirefighterModifierKey=None

And just use the Quick Action Menu to call them if you need them.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."
