LCPDFR Issues

Featured Replies

Redownloaded IV from Steam (so a 100% legal copy, I bought it for £50 on release running 1.0.7.0 with LCPDFR, First Person ASI mod and Abraxas Police Station mod installed) and wanted to play 1.0. I used the auto installer and have everything up to date.

Installed it and all was well after I removed the lights toggle to none, until it crashed.

I've noticed it usually seems to crash accessing audio files both from players/NPC cops, the most recent is when I had a drunk driver jack my cop car (wow) and got a car blocking my shot, I went to order the driver out, bang CTD. Is there a way to dummy out the audio calls to see if that's the culprit?

I'll attach my logs and see if anything odd leaps out, the only thing that strikes me as odd is this:

2013-12-30 15:42:20 - Error during NetHook.Tick:
                      System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
                         at unmanaged.NativeContext3.Invoke(Int32 nameptr, Byte[] args, Int32 argnum, NativeContext3* cxt)
                         at GTA.ScriptDomain.RemoteEvent(RemoteEventArgs ev)
                         at GTA.ScriptDomain.ProcessRemoteEvents()
                         at GTA.ScriptDomain.Tick()
                         at GTA.NetHook.Tick()

Yet I ran a memory test for 6 hours and zero issues, Zero issues in any other game as well, just IV.

It is but I said in my post that I fixed that and that isn't the cause of the crashes as I disabled it fully.

Least that's the most common cause for me, having any LCPDFR voice files tend to crash the game.

Yes I am, I disabled UAC to test and still had the same issues.

Newer crash happened when the AI was arresting somebody as well so there's two things causing crashes here. Doesn't the AI use voices when arresting people? I'm wondering if I can somehow dummy out the voices to see if it could help stop crashes? I've noticed in all the crashes that it seems to come down to either arrests or the LCPDFR audio being played (or attempted to)

Nope no luck with that.

Had a chase and went to arrest the guy. It got to 'Hey you halt', then it crashed after I hit E

Latest crash was

Which is a known issue sadly.
