095rc police computer problem

Featured Replies

[WARN - 9:55:18 PM] [backupManager] Tick: Disposed object still in list

is common, and DispatchUnitSetup looks normal from here.

Delete your log file (or move it somewhere else) and try to duplicate the bug. That will help isolate related debug lines, if any appear.

Nothing on there appears beyond the norm. Whatever the problem is, it does not appear to be logging in that file. The developers would have more knowledge of this than me.

It's a shame this problem is not easily fixed, whatever is causing it is definitely going to be hard to solve.

I know. looking like reinstalling GTA IV is going to be the only option :/

Hmmm do the computers in the internet "stores" work?

Are you sure you got a legal copy of GTA IV? Because R* added several pirate checks which are causing issues like this (or permananent drunkness although you didn't drink anything) They seem to appear randomly and cause you to be stuck in mission (or even here in LCPD:FR^^)

Yes I have a legitimate copy. I bought it online from http://uk.gamesplanet.com/. I don't have access to the internet stores as i am still quite early in the game. I also checked to see if the normal police computer works (as in the one when LCPDFR is not enabled) and it works fine without any crashes.....

EDIT: Also just checked if i can use the LCPDFR database etc. whilst not performing a traffic stop and it still freezes.

EDIT 2: in the process of backing up my siren mods etc. before a reinstall of GTA IV. I'll let you know how it goes!

I also have a legal copy, and all normal GTA IV Computers work fine. It's just the LCPD:FR Mod Police Computer.

Right i've just re-installed gta iv and not installed any mods whatsoever. (Except LCPDFR) the police computer now works fine so i'll add my mods in one by one and see if the problem occurs again.

I guess I'll try that later, and see if it works for me, as much as I hate to reinstall GTA IV, it is worth it.

Right all my mods are now installed again and LCPDFR is working perfectly, including the computer  For now it seems the only fix is a reinstall of gta iv.........

Thank you for your support everyone
