Hey, i just bought Gta Iv on steam yesterday and i installed the Lcpdfr 95 mod to my clean Gta Iv.

 

And when i am in the game whenever i press Alt+p or not then the game crashes after 30 seconds.

 

Withouth the mod the game runs smoothly.

 

I got windows Xp 32 Bit.

 

What are your computer specs? Are you running the game as administrator? Using the latest patch? What mods are you using? List them please. Could you run the diag tool ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) and post the generated log here?

Are you a administrator on the computer? I just don't think you can run the mod with those specs. Wait, download and extract Scripthook.dll and ScripthookDotNet.asi files to your GTA IV directory. (http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83)

Yes i am a admin on my computer.

 

Oh :(. Does the mod use some Graphic boost or something?

Normal Game runs with no lag.

 

But the game crashes after 30 seconds not just after the load game. When i press Alt+P i can go to the police office and get almost on duty. Sometimes it crashes little bit earlyer around 20-30 seconds.

 

Installed at replaced at the main directoyry.  Still the same :(

Hm, , chances are that your saves are corrupt.

The save files are located in 2 different places: 

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
X:Users%username%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

Delete or move them and try again. 

 

Note: The AppData-folder is usually hidden, make sure that you can see hidden files.

Note 2: “X” is the drive where you have installed GTA IV, and %username% is replaced by your username

What to you mean Corrupt?

I started the game, when i got to the apartment i saved the game and then i installed the mod.

 

Just got lucky, i played like 3 minutes and then the gtaiv. exe crashed

 

in X:Users%username%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames i dont have any savegames only Controlmap.dat

and in appdata i dont have any Rockstar games folder or any Local Folder.

So you hadn't played GTA IV prior to installing the mod then?

Ah i found the folder, i have one save game in appdata local rockstar game folders

To circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running, create a txt file called “commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory and insert the following lines:

-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

Nothing works ;(. Inseri the last solution u gave dosent work ether, it crashes like 20-3 Minutes.

Im just going to watch more Lcpdfr videos and dream to play it myself. :(

I think you would need to upgrade your computer then, since running GTA IV is very demanding for a computer (even for a gaming computer). I think you are lucky you can even boot up the actual game.

GtaIv.Exe has encounter a problem and needs to close.

The Exception unknow sofrtware excepetion 0xc00200001 occured in the application at location 0x7c812fd3

 

Error Signature:

It is the error information!

 

And i was only motivated to buy the game guz of this mod. :/

This was exactly my situation a couple of years ago, I really really wanted GTA 4 because of LCPDFR, but I couldn't because my computer sucked.

So for christmas I got a new computer and could finally play it. 

 

Long story short, I got a new computer and I could play LCPDFR.
