Have you ever get this freaking error?

Problem: Failed to update title

Cause : The program cant find the gta 4 directories

But don't worry because i have a solution for that.

HDGTAUpdateFixer.zip

SOLUTION

How to use:

1. Download the .zip

2. Extract the file anywhere

3. Copy all the files to Rockstar Games directory (Not GTA IV/EFLC directory)

4. Run the reg.exe (or Run as Admin)

5. Run the update title again.

6. TARAAAAAAAAA. ITS WORKK!

It happens if you run the msi file sometimes, or if you use a crack. This error should not occur if you run the exe as administrator and have a legal copy of the game. But it's Windows after all, anything is possible. 

I thank you regardless, but I don't want to download and run files from the internet that changes the registry, it's a rule of the thumb for me :) It would, in my opinion, be better if you described to inexperienced members how to manually edit the registry.

but messing with Registry files with little knowledge can do more harm than good. So would you rather give them a tool to auto fix it and they don't have to mess with it themselves.

I don't have that problem at all, I'm lucky

Actually, yes. Even though this software is harmless, downloading stuff from the internet that changes system critical variables isn't a very good idea. If you do it yourself, you can decide if it's a good idea or not.
