Hey guys, so I found a really neat book today and thought I should share it with everyone because it is perfect for anyone who loves classic police vehicles. It is a must read for all those who are looking into or are in the process of restoring older police vehicles. The name of the book is "POLICE CARS Restoring, Collecting, & Showing America's Finest Sedans". It is written by Edwin Sanow & James Pot.

Oh the Blues Brothers! I loved that movie. Probably one of my favorite scenes is when they are being chased through Chicago by the police and they end up beating the law while all the cruisers crash and pile up on the street.

It really is one of the greatest movies ever. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who knows about it.

Yea, I watched that 2 times and it's very funny "indeed" And that the car chase was over the top, I see there very old cruiser going very fast, and that I don't think that it can go at that speed, even the Chicago police where over the top 'that the fact that there where around 100 of them going fast and crashed in each other under the bridge.

There is some old book, 'Cars of the State Police and Highway Patrol' by Monty Mccord, that I was considering to purchase a while back and which has plenty of reference pictures of older SP & HP vehicles.
