A way to increase liveries beyond 4?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

This is less of a tech support question and more of a tech inquiry.

I love using the ALM mod, the variety of squad cars in different regions is aesthetically pleasing but I was wondering if there is a limit to the amount of liveries assigned to a vehicle?

I'm savvy when it comes to using SparkIV to a point. I know that the liveries are within a vehicles .wtd file and the use of +livery addition to the vehicles.ini.

So here are the questions really.

  • Is there a way to add more than 4 liveries to a vehicle's .wtd file? I can only seem to replace existing livery files and that sometimes varies from 1 or 2 to the maximum I have seen of 4.
  • If so how?
  • Will the ALM script recognise anything beyond 0;1;2;3?

If there is a way, it would greatly increase my love of such vehicle texture packs as '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Thanks in advance,

Polk

You can add more liveries to the wtd file, but game (including any scripts) won't recognize and use them because of engine limitations.

Yard1 is correct, 4 textures is the maximum the game can support. Unfortunately there's no way to use any more than 4 in-game, with scripts or without. As this has been answered multiple times, is resolved, and is also in the wrong section I'll close this.

Nothing to see here!
