How to record good quality?

Featured Replies

So how do I record good quality but not have an upload time off 2+ hours?

I edited a gameplay video to about 15mins, rendered it as a .wmv but it will take forever to upload to youtube. So i converted to .mpg which took about 20mins but the quality is horrible. So what should I render it as? Also I use fraps to recorded if that changes anything.

You can't have both. Upload time can only be helped with three things: 1.) Lower quality 2.) Faster computer 3.) Better Internet connection.

I've never done much with recording, but maybe you could try other game recording programs? I use WeGame myself, which I believe is what Unr3al uses (used to?) and that seems to work pretty well. My ISP only gives me an upload speed of about 0.78 Mbps so any file format I try takes FOREVER.

I used WeGame but it doesn't work for GTA IV anymore after the last patch I got. I'm in search of a new program, but I'm not searching that hard because I'm starting not to care as much.

Xfire won't be the best choice for BEST quality, Fraps would be good, and if you want more of it, download ENB to make the game look brighter and better.
