Crashes when it loads savegame

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem. I install LCPDFR and it says everything installed correctly, but when I go to GTA IV and after it loads my savegame, it crashes.

If I remove FirstResponse.net.dll out of my Scripts folder, it plays & runs just fine.

I've been going EVERYWHERE trying to find a solution.

I did everything in the FAQ, I tried this link, hell I even ran a registry cleaner. Nothing works so far.

And when I try to run the diagnostic tool, it crashes too. Here is what the crash of the diagnostic tool looks like. Here is what the crash of the game looks like.

Also, right when I go into the game, sometimes it will actually show Niko standing there for a second and on the top right corner it says something about a Hardcore script not running correctly or something right before it crashes. I can't get a screen shot of it because it crashes so quickly. I've also tried uninstalling a reinstalling GTA IV a few times with no luck.

I'm on Windows 7 x32.

Thanks in advance,

John

Oh my God. I ran it as administrator and it works perfect. I want to kick myself in my own ass. I've literally been at fixing this for like 5 hours.

I HATE TECHNOLOGY.

Sorry for the useless thread. But hey, maybe someone else has the same problem lmao.
