Windows 8.1 makes dsound.dll not work

Hi when i have windows 8 dsound.dll and scripthook.dll works fine but after I installed Windows 8.1 it's not working. I have the Directx 11.2 and it still not working even i got rid of my virus detector.

 

Specs:

Intel i5 3337u 1.8Gz-2.7Gz

Nvidea GTX 740M 2GB

4 GB RAM

.. and you have the latest updates to Windows 8.1? 

Try disabling UAC aswell. 

1. Go to the Search bar and type "User Account Settings”:

 

2. In the console, change the settings as per your requirement. If you want to disable it, you can keep it at “Never notify”: Do this. 

 

 

Hit OK and you are good to go.

Nope, it won't harm the computer unless you do something stupid (like removing Windows Files, this just gives your account constant Administrator access).
