So, I just got finished with this skin, and I put it on a car I assembled, but the skins come out very blurry? Any idea why? And is there a way to fix this? I tried upping the resolution to 500, but that didn't make a difference :/, so what do I do?

What's the resolution of the skin itself? Also, what are your in-game graphic settings? Sometimes the template can be the wrong resolution but most of the time the skin looks blurry because you're playing on lowered graphics.

Interesting. I'd say it's an issue with the model then, I'm not sure when it comes to models so hopefully someone else knows whats up.

Hmm, I have no idea what's going on. Oh wait, I did have to make a new blank file, and drag and drop the template file since it was locked in the first place. Could that have made a difference?

Possibly, but if the resolution is 2048x2048 then it shouldn't make a difference. I'm not sure why it's doing this either, I know for a fact that some cars make textures blurrier than others though. Have you tried it on a different model?

Image > Mode > RGB Colour

 

That should unlock the image since I'm guessing it's set to Indexed Colour.

Try changing the mitmap levels in OpenIV. 1 normally works best for me, but it's a matter of preference.
