Problem joining multiplayer lobby

Featured Replies

I have a big problem. Whenever I try to join multiplayer game I'm set up in empty lobby or it says I was kicked. The Upnp says "Available, not used" and NAT type says "Moderate or Strict". Help as soon as possible.

If it says strict NAT type, you can only play online with very few people, because a lot of people's internet are conflicted with strict NAT types, I suffer the strict NAT type as well, can't play with my clan a lot

The only solution that has worked for me and a few members in RPC3 is either temporarily disabling their anti-virus and/or temporarily completely disabling their windows 'firewall' (public, private, and domain). Of course you can turn all this stuff back on once your multiplier session has ended. Also if you have other programs such as hamachi or evolve I would say try disabling the virtual network adapters those programs installed which usually take priority over some things such as Upnp.

I can tell you even though my firewall is completely opened up for GTA IV, if its on I immediately get moderate NAT types, but as soon as I disable it my NAT type shoots straight open.
