I know I have a few vehicle mods put in the game, but each mod is from here, and I am kinda at a loss for why alt+p won't load the game for me :S

Any suggestions?

  • Yes, the mod will unlock the islands anyway, just make sure to complete the first mission before starting.

try using some different Asi loader and be sure you have the newest hooks versions installed (see in the download section or at gtaforums.com)

I tried three asi loaders, including the one provided with the install, and I have everything else up to date with requirements.. I'm just really lost as to what it is :S

Mod installed, ran the tool, got blue checkmarks on everything, ran the game, loaded like it was vanilla (which it is) and loaded a save file that was on my computer from a previous install. Pressed alt+p nothing happened... Should I delete the save files and try again?

Okay, I played both cousins bellic, and the first full mission, the loanshark one, and it still does nothing... I checked the scripthook.log:

Make sure you install the mod properly

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV <-- Mine

F:\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV <-- yours

Check to make sure you have a folder named scripts inside of it with the FirstResponse.net.dll & ini inside of it. (As well as a folder named LCPDFR with sounds)

Example:

Curious have you tried running the game as administrator? (Right click LaunchGTAIV.exe, not sure which one yous would be and click run as admin)

This might fix your issue?

Did it again, and not one thing happened. Game loaded up, i tried the start command, and nothing happened of any importance.

I'm more so curious now as to what is preventing it from working, as opposed to how to actually fix it. Like I want to play it, but now I want to know why it won't work too... It's a strange situation..

If anyone wants to try and figure this out on a one on one basis, message me.

Start the game and press (~) key and press pageup and pagedn see if you can notice if its loading LCPDFR, do you have other scripts?

Also are you using the files provided by the installer?

I unistalled the game, cleared the folders from existence (shift+delete) and then reinstalled, updated, installed lcpdfr, so it's just what this put there, nothing else (not even a car mod)

I'll check the tidle thing and see if it's loading, and I'll let you know

About the tilde... It's different depending on what keyboard layout you have. For me it's ^ for example. Which layout are you using?

I think it's always the key left of the number "1" in the upper left corner of your keyboard.

  • Author

I use a standard american keyboard, but the tilde doesn't open anything. I tried in game, in pause and at main menu for each try through, nadda

The reason the scripthook console is not opening is because of:

"Scripthook - Shutdown"

Never before have I seen this, I'd suggest trying the scripthook included with SNP

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I get scripthook shutdown only after I exit the game, Been working with him in private messages.. Kinda stumped honestly..

I asked him to install a simple net script and if that doesnt work we know what to try and fix
