GTA IV Help

Featured Replies

Hello, I need a bit of techical help. I have no internet access except at the local library and I have a desktop computer. I can't download Game for windows live to my desktop because of this problem. Is there anyway to get around it? I tried downloading the installer to a flash drive but it requires an internet connection to pull down neccesary files.

P.S. The offline Key verifier isnt working either. I press offline activation and it freezes for a second and then nothing.

Thanks

Do you have WiFi at your home? If you do, do what I did and buy a WiFi adapter from eBay from around 5-6 Pounds. (Its probably going to be around the same price in different countries.)

If you don't have internet you have big problem bud. You need internet.

Not entirely true. GTA IV does support offline activation for a while longer.

OP: Make sure that you run all installers as administrator to prevent crashes. Of course, the most simple solution would be to buy access to the internet via a 3G-4G usb antenna.
