goddamn i did all these things still no fix, its really annoying all settings are on low like u said set on 1280x800 and still lag while driving, i dont get it why would appear a problem like this?

yes its not a really long lag but when u pursuit a car its getting annoying because of how faster you go how harder the control of the car is, and when it lags for 1-2 seconds randomly u dont wanna play it anymore

Sounds like R* Anti-piracy measures are acting up... 

Try reinstalling so you have a clean copy, meaning that after you uninstall it remove ALL leftover files in the GTA IV directory. Then launch the game with the latest patch applied, but without mods. See if it lags after that procedure.

finally found the problem but not the solution, i moved the scripts folder to my desktop and see how it works without any mod on it, the lag is gone but now is the question wich mod causes the driving lag?

Then you need to add the mods one by one and see which one is causing it. It's a tedious process, but it will get the job done.

bro..laptop always has lagging when driving 1-2 second.. no matter what u fixed..

i got that too.. unless you have PC with latest GTX graphic card installed..

laptop coz of using battery...maybe try to use power sockets.. if still lag while drive.. as laptop normally few lags...not lag as much as old laptop

THANXX ineseri your a legend, i fixed it the cause was trafficlight fix mod. now finally i can play it without any lag!

i got trafficlight too.. i dont know some people had lagged some people dont..depends btw

most of traffic flow has taxi on it.. i dont even know why.. some are all the sports car spawn itself in the cbd street...
