I think it means their lazy asses will actually spend six months porting it, and not doing it on the fly like IV.

 

Anything past a possibility is still speculation at this point.

Hate to burst a bubble, but it took 7 months between IV's console and PC releases. 6 months doesn't even come close to "better port than IV". In fact, the reason we're guessing 6 months is *because* that's roughly what IV had.

Also, IV was apparently announced for PC in August 08, also after its console release.

Usually after releasing 1 pc port, development companies "sometimes" get better at making ports, so it more of a ask if the graphics can be optimised right and maybe made to look a lot better than 360 and PS3, but then again its a waiting game since Rockstar is still finishing 'GTA online' and from the rumours, secretly working on a PC port (but nothing officially confirmed).

Job listing looking for a PC programmer for Rockstar Leeds hinted to it  (http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/07/09/rockstar-job-listing-may-hint-at-grand-theft-auto-5-pc-port.) and that job listing was in July, so hopefully announcement  mid or late october.

I Guarantee that online is done BUT! They jus want to keep People wanting this N' that.

Yes actually like others said I think it being moddable would be our biggest worry ,not that if it's coming out on PC or not.

I thought rockstar encourages and supports modding? I don't see why they would prevent it anyways Im pretty sure it will be moddable

Well truth is you never know and with this little bit of information you can't really make a valid statement whether Rockstar will deem the game moddable or not

im sure it will though funny how people get so worried about it

I have heard many rumors that GTA V for PC will be released in about half a year and apparently Rockstar has released this info on a few website's just as a treat for all the PC gamer's out there (such as myself) so that we would't feel left out but I'm not sure if any of this was confirmed

You can see this the other way too, right? How can people be so sure it will come to the PC (No disrespect, Harper)? Sure, the other games have arrived to the PC (RDR did not though) but that does not make it certain that GTA V will come to the PC. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill here, but we have no idea until Rockstar releases further information!

I'm not stating that its going to happen for certain, its just that from the looks of it there might be a pc version coming in 2014 due to all the rumors and info and articles such as the article from Nvidia

NVIDIA made a mistake, sure. I'm not sure that means anything. Yes, there are rumors. Lots of them. But the fact is that we still have NO IDEA unless R* gives us a offical answer. The only answer we have from them at the moment is "It's up for consideration". That's it. We can speculate all we want, but that is the only solid fact we have right now.

Those are other games. As I have said before, we will not know until R* gives us more information.

1. R* is not really hinting anything, they are just doing their thing. 

2. Ofcourse there is a PC version of GTA V for developers. You do not develop games on a console, you test and develop games on a PC. 

 

I'm hoping for a PC release, just as everybody else but I am just stating the facts :)

Yes that's very true and I'm not saying that your wrong I completely agree with you, I'm just hoping that eventually there will be a PC release :)
