Whats this?? Crashhook.dll

Featured Replies

As the handing says,

-what does the Crashhook.dll do?

-Does it help the game stop crashing?

-is it for GTA IV! can I use it for GTA iv?

-does any-one use this .dll?

I'm not entirely sure what it does exactly but I know it's not just GTA IV that uses it, several other games use it too. My advice is to just leave it alone and not worry about it just in-case it's an important file (I think it is).

How can I leave it alone if I do not have it installed. if you look at your root folder you do not have it installed. You can download of the internet and install it to GTA IV http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?crashhook

-I just do not know what is it, as my first thread says

Sorry, I'm useless when it comes to this sort of stuff. If it's not part the game, leave it alone. I doubt it serves as a crash fix since TDU2 has it by default and that game crashes all the time. I did a quick Google and came up blank so I have no idea what it does either.

My guess it's an extension for handling crashes in some games. As previous posts have said, leave it be. It's for TDU2.

OP: How did you find out about this file? What do you want to do with it? I'm puzzled!

My tip is to leave it alone, it has nothing to do with GTA IV as far as I can see.
