Some questions about spawning partners

Hi, new member of the forums here. Big fan of the mod (am currently playing version 091) and having a great time playing it at the moment but I have a few questions regarding further tweaks I can make to it to suit my own personal tastes:

1. Is it possible to edit a file so that one can choose specifically which uniform/prop set a spawned partner will appear with? I ask because I prefer my partner to have a matching uniform/hat to my player model (i.e if my officer is wearing a long raincoat, I like the partner to have the same, etc).

also

2. I notice that partners rarely seem to spawn with a hat on. Is there a way of modifying the game so that they always spawn with one?

Now both of those issues are hardly gamebreaking obstacles to me, and I can live without them being resolved, but it would be nice if a more experienced technical wizard could help me out.

It's still a bloody good mod though and I look forward to the next full version!

Cheers,

Kualan

EDIT: Blah, just realised this probably would have been better suited to the "Support" forum. My apologies, please feel free to move it and/or scold me as you see fit.

Try out Simple Native Trainer

http://www.gtagaming...cript-mods/2115

Press alt + U to get a hat.

edit: To give you some more info, Simple Native Trainer allows you to spawn objects, change your player model / clothes, change the player voice, et cetera. It can also supply weapons or unlimited ammo as well as changing and locking of weather and time. If you use it, go into the trainer.ini file and set KeyBindingsDisabled = 1

Thanks for the swift reply, Iconography!

It's not so much the player I want to edit though, as much as the NPC that is spawned when one spawns a partner. Is there a way to change the random nature of the model spawned to a very specific model/prop setup?

Also, Alt+U only gives the player a hat, not the partner too. (unless you're saying it's meant to give a hat to them both, in which case I may have made a mistake during installation as this doesn't happen).

Oh sorry I thought you meant your character

The spawned NPC in 0.91 is random for the most part, but if you spawn a partner in let's say Alderney, you get a state trooper but in northern Algonquin a fat cop.

The partner won't wear a hat either though unless he is spawned with one. When the final version of 0.95 comes out, that should be resolved.
