I'm been reading up about ENB "as there are a-lot of them out there for low and high and PC' so which is coolest or better ENB to use!! at the moment I'm using China Green Elvis ENB for months now, and I really like it' it's the Best ENB I ever used, and the only one that I use. China Green Elvis ENB uses patch 1.0.7.0, as for most ENBs they work great for patch 1.0.3.0 or 1.0.4.0 'But I'm only interested in using patch 1.0.7.0. as well when GTAV comes out in 6 months time on PC, I like to hear you thoughts of what ENB will look like as the new game has updated scripts and patch and so on.

 

-so what's your thought on the best ENB you go for? and what's the best ENB for an high spec PC?

-the main Question is!!  patch 1.0.7.0 is it the newest patch out there?? or this patch 1.1.1.0 is the newest, or the fact that 1.1.1.0 is for The Ballad of Gay Tony.!!

The reason ENBs look better on patch 4, is because Boris made the d3d9.dll for that patch, but then on every patch R* changed the shaders & other stuff, so Boris Vorontsov (yeah, the ENB creator) got fed up of rewriting it every time, hence the red skies/squares, & too many reflections on cars. Only recently he started working on it & he released the d3d9.dll version 0.1.6.3, which fixed the red sky & looks much better in general plus has an in-game enbseries.ini editor.

 

Since EFLC came out after the release of patch 7, it doesn't have an option to have good graphics as the normal game

 

So I hope now you have an idea of how things work.

CGE is a really bad ENB... plus it's very old... The only reason because it has no red-sky is because it uses default shaders. I suggest you to use a better one, you can find here many.
