ENB Tweeks (iCEnhancer-2.1MX Ver.II)

Featured Replies

Hey all,

So I downloaded my very first ENB yesterday, and wow what a difference it makes for the game. Ok so as I'm totally new to the whole enb thing and setting it up. I've noticed that (before) adding the enb I could really tell that my roof lights were on, and they seemed pretty bright, but with the enb now.. I cant really see them at all. I can see the reflection on the ground "red/blue" really good, but the lightbar just barely does anything for me. I really want it to "flash" when its on. So my question here is where do I go to increase brightness of my lightbar/headlight flashing?

I did take a peek at a few things. First I looked at my ELS setup. I tried to increase intensity but it seemed to do little good there. But this is the current setup there...

-ELS-

Range_LightsF = 4       // Range of headlight environment lights
Intens_LightsF = 6     // Intensity headlight environment lights
Range_LightsC = 30      // Range of light bar environment lights
Intens_LightsC = 2      // Intensity of light bar environment lights
FlashDelay = 0  // Flash speed delay for all lights (in milliseconds) / higher is slower

now, I also looked at my Iceconfig file and it also shows a few things on here that I think may help me, but I'm totally lost to how to set it up if this is where I need to change values and what needs to be changed..

-ENB-

[LIGHT1] //siren and some internal
LightIntensity=3
LightAOAmount=4
LightILAmount=1.0
EdgeLighteningAmount=0.0
ColorPow=2.5
LightCurve=1

LightIntensity=0.5
LightAOAmount=2
LightILAmount=1
EdgeLighteningAmount=0.1
ColorPow=2
LightCurve=1
ColorFilterR=1
ColorFilterG=1
ColorFilterB=1

[LIGHT3] //car front light
LightIntensity=1
LightAOAmount=2
LightILAmount=1
EdgeLighteningAmount=0.0

LightCurve=1

[LIGHT4] //secondary
LightIntensity=0.02
LightAOAmount=2

EdgeLighteningAmount=0.0

LightCurve=1

[LIGHT5] //ambient spheres

[LIGHT6] //ambient spheres for omni light
LightIntensity=1
LightAOAmount=2
LightILAmount=1.0
EdgeLighteningAmount=0.0

LightCurve=1.0

[CARHEADLIGHT]

[LIGHTSPRITE]
UseExternalTexture=true
Intensity=1
IntensityInReflection=1

So there it all is.. any help here would be great =D

Thanx in advance,

Laz

Yeah but most probably the bloom will suck & I don't know the file to change it on Ice.

1. Copy Game4videos bloom settings to ENB and ICE config files.

2. Delete icebloom.fx from the GTA IV folder.

3. Copy Game4video's enbloom.fx file into GTA IV folder.

4. Copy one more time Game4video's enbloom.fx file but to desktop and rename it icebloom.fx.

5. Copy icebloom.fx to GTA IV folder

6. Increase car.defaultlight.emissive.on number in visualSettings.dat to make lights on the lightbar more brighter.

I was having the same problem with the lights, it was so bad I just took ENB off. But I'll give it another shot with these settings. Thanks
